No... This was not going to be him tonight so for a while..

At first I was like: Okay a horror movie with a scary clown is always good. It started quite exciting with a very strong opening. That clown in the chair was really scary, it also shocked me when he suddenly got up. After that very strong and exciting fifteen minutes I thought: This is going to be him this movie... But no, what's left of the movie is the standard basement killer game with booby traps and sick games. I only like this kind of shit in the Saw movies and otherwise this is very outdated shit I think. Even all those cliches in a row, you've seen it all before and even better. The ending was too ridiculous for words, and that killer made no sense at all. And that clown you see on the poster is only 5 minutes into the entire movie or something. Also so fake. Well, what's left of this film? Not much to say.

1,5*

Certainly not a great one, but if you start this film with the right expectations, it's all not too bad... I didn't expect too much from it, but thanks to a few very amusing scenes it was all still quite too plums. In the first place I have to think of the scene with the clown, which really stood out.

Actually a rewatch, but apparently I didn't remember anything about the film. Let me explain that at the time I thought my own review was a bit double because of falling asleep now and then and would give the film a second chance anyway. But actually I was not wrong after all and I also stick to my previous review.

So here's my old review...

Disappointed me a bit. However, I found the beginning promising and the scene with the clown was also quite exciting. But in general the film has too few exciting scenes and especially towards the end the film reels too quickly and therefore also weaker. The story is a bit confused.
