The Sleeping City plot
"DANGER STALKS THE SILENT STREETS IN...THE SLEEPING CITY"
At Bellevue Hospital in New York, an internist is shot dead by an unknown killer. Inspector Gordon cannot find any clear evidence, but feels a mysterious atmosphere in the hospital. Detective Fred Rowan also intervenes in the case and poses as a substitute internist. He discovers that a dirty game is being played at the hospital.

Good film in which a cop goes undercover as a doctor in a hospital to solve a murder. A murder mystery that doesn't really come across as a murder mystery. Perhaps because during the first half you get a nice glimpse of the goings-on in a hospital in New York in the 1950s. Entertaining and a great plot. A small 3.5 stars.
