BloodRayne II: Deliverance plot

"A heart-stopping adventure!"

During the time of the Wild West, it's not just the tough cowboys who pose a threat; there are also vampires around. And who would have ever thought that Billy the Kid was a vampire! It's up to Rayne to make the town of Deliverance safe and rid of these vampires, were it not for the fact that chief vampire Billy the Kid doesn't give in easily.

Lame movie in which the action only starts after an hour and that wasn't all that exciting. For the first hour a 0.5*, the action a 1.5*, I end up with a 1*. Too bad because I usually like pulp, unfortunately there was little fun to be had here.

I found the first part quite nice while I found the third part very mediocre. This part however takes the cake and I don't mean that in a positive way. This film has little to offer apart from the beautiful Natassia Malthe (also seen in the third part and she even takes off her clothes there) as "Rayne" and Michael Eklund (provided a bit of humor) as the crazy "Preacher" and the story also starts very slowly (also quite boring). Only at the end does it get a little bit interesting. With pain and effort and sometimes even with fast forwarding I was able to watch this film.

PS Brendan Fletcher (director Uwe Boll's favorite actor) also has a small role in the film. But a very small role.

About the same level as its predecessor. Director Uwe Boll seems to find his inspiration in the western world that is created here. Cheap looking, but ultimately well dressed by the production staff, with Natassia Malthe who has enough charisma for the leading role. The acting is not really great (Zack Ward in particular as the villain is particularly substandard) and the story, as is often the case in a Boll film, does not really provide any added value, but the action scenes are quite entertaining and go quite over the top towards the end. BloodRayne II is all clearly unnecessary and made for as little money as possible, but is ultimately still quite watchable.
