Five Came Back plot
"Four must die! One must choose!"
Twelve passengers board a plane bound for South America. If the plane gets caught in a hurricane, it is forced to make an emergency landing. The passengers end up in a jungle where bloodthirsty Indians are getting closer and closer. But when the plane is repaired, only 5 of the 12 passengers can board.

The title "Five Came Back" is of course a spoiler, as it gives away what the outcome of the film will be. But that is precisely what shifts the theme of the film.
The question is not: or and how the stranded travelers can escape, but the question throughout the film is: who can cq. are allowed to escape and who will decide that?
This gives the story a different (heavier) load than many other standard we-fall-down-and-know-how-to-return movie.

Nice cast in an unexciting adventure film in which a number of people have to survive in the jungle after an emergency landing until the engine is repaired. The title makes it clear that only 5 of them will return. The question is of course: which five are they, and why they and the others not?! If that question intrigues you, you may have enough fun. However, the film is technically dated and for an adventure film there is little to experience in this relatively short, cheap-looking film. For fans of the cast this may be worth it, others can safely skip it.
