Bezness as Usual plot

Suppose your mother falls in love with a Tunisian playboy during a beach holiday. They get married, he goes to the Netherlands and you are born. But the marriage ends, your father goes the wrong way and is deported. After twenty years you decide to visit your father again. And what if he then asks you for money? Filmmaker Alex Pitstra, born as Karim Alexander Ben Hassen, has a Tunisian father and a Dutch mother. In the documentary Bezness as Usual, Pitstra records his search for the man behind his father. In it, he is confronted with the cultural differences between him and his Tunisian family. What role should he fulfill as a son between two cultures?
