Die Unerzogenen plot
Precocious fourteen-year-old Stevie constantly struggles with the incalculable parameters of her parents' excessive lives. When the family moves to a German provincial town, the girl hopes that she can finally have a normal and regular family life. To bolster her hopes, she pretends to be a decent diplomat's daughter in her new hometown. But a new reality cannot be forced, and it soon becomes clear that her parents have once again gone into illegal business in order to finance their lavish lifestyle. Slowly but surely everything gets out of hand. The more the family home becomes filled with friends and accomplices of her parents, the more Stevie is forced to follow her own path.
