Marsha Mitchell stops by in a southern town to visit her sister Lucy, who is married to Hank Rice, a member of the Ku Klux Klan. When Marsha sees that the Ku Klux Klan is committing a murder, she makes an incriminating statement to district judge Burt Rainey, who wants to try to catch the criminals with her as a witness.
