Matsugane Ransha Jiken plot
Sometime in the 1990s, when the economy is already on its decline, a mysterious couple moves into an empty house in a provincial town. Their arrival begins to affect the relationships between the ordinary, yet also eccentric city dwellers. There are the twin brothers, one of which is a police officer, who find themselves in tragedy. There is the man who, wasting his time, makes his wife toil. There is a girl who is willing to offer her body to anyone. When a gold ingot and a head emerge from the frozen lake, all these lives become intertwined and the peaceful existence is irrevocably over.
