What a disappointing movie. The story makes no sense and then the effect is also weak.

A very bad start, constantly the phone rang and someone else died. It really doesn't make sense. Looked too much like Final Destination.

The story is never well explained. Where are those weird faces? Nothing is explained. It was never exciting or scary. Bad acting people. A twist at the end. But that doesn't do much good. No, no movie for me.

remake.

From a film that I have never seen before, but the expectations for a Miike film are no longer so high for me. I didn't know the director of this remake yet. His films are, but the man's style is not so. This is only the first film I've seen by him. He was probably screwed by the script in this case.

Because actually, behind all that nonsense that is constantly presented to us during this film, there was quite a nice piece of work. Lots of visually appealing images and quite a bit of spectacle fill the screen quickly. Quite a bit is being pulled out of the closet to keep us on track and that works, but unfortunately it also ensures that some scenes are really completely ridiculous.

It's also a shame that no character can get a bit of flair. There is a rather large gang of idlers running through the film where it is occasionally quite haunted. I didn't even think the hassle with that phone call worked out that brilliantly, it was mainly that every 5 minutes a new apparition crawls out of the corner to beat things black and blue.

Furthermore, a slightly too messy film so that the story can never be taken seriously. Everyone in the film takes it very seriously, but still remains a factor that kills these films. I can't take it very seriously, but all the explosive events and a great deal of horror provide a decent portion of entertainment, and that's what you do it for. However?
