Betrayed Women plot
"Female Devil's Island... the place nobody knows except the girls nobody wants!"
After reports of atrocities among the inmates of the Bayou Women's Reform Department, the local governor appoints attorney Jeff Darrow to open an investigation. But the investigation is thwarted by Mrs. Ballard, head of the prison, whose imbecile brother Cletus, the prison's cruel warden. Also in prison is Nora Collins, once Jeff's fiancée, for a theft committed to help her brother.
