"New house. New family. What could possibly go wrong?"
Nick and Suzanne are newly married and they decide to move to the suburbs to provide a quieter environment for their two children. Unfortunately, this plan falls through the cracks when Nick has a hard time with the contractor who has to renovate their house.

Occasional funny comedy mainly at the hands of McGinley, Ice Cube isn't actually funny and actually plays the serious introducer, as with Gaston and Leo. This movie reminds me of The Money Pit with Tom Hanks but is less successful. Still, all in all an entertaining comedy and this film belongs to the good average. Special mention also of the soundtrack, where the choice of songs adds to the humor. 3 stars
