We Feed the World plot

We Feed the World unravels the story of our food before it hits supermarket shelves. The documentary examines the market mechanisms underlying our food industry and raises several interesting questions. Why is road salt worth more than grain, for example? And how is it possible that 100,000 people die of hunger every day while enough food is produced for 12 billion people worldwide? Various stakeholders - ranging from farmers, truck drivers, biologists, politicians, producers of genetically modified seeds and the CEO of the world's largest food multinational Nestlé - will be given the space.
