First Snow plot
Jimmy is a traveling salesman now temporarily residing in New Mexico. He runs into a clairvoyant who tells him that he will die before snow falls. His girlfriend doesn't believe it, but when it starts to get colder, Jimmy becomes more and more scared and tries to prevent his death.

The film starts off well, but it soon becomes boring and long-winded. The ending was good, but for me the calf had already drowned.
If you want to see a good Guy Pearce movie, watch Memento, LA Confidential or The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

Very nice drama with the necessary thriller elements, starts with little hope with an unsympathetic yup, but then the shit hits the fan and it all becomes atmospheric, exciting and downwards into the spiral.
Based on an episode from "The Twilight Zone" although it has nothing to do with it in terms of atmosphere.

This film has an intriguing beginning but soon as the viewer you find out that it turns out to be a very slow and boring story. The ending is also weak with absolutely no payoff for the viewer's long suffering. Guy Pierce is anything but a sympathetic character and certainly completes the disappointing picture.
