Konkurs plot
This debut film by Milo? Forman contains two acts. The first deals with two wind ensembles, of which the younger players in particular must learn to recognize and appreciate the importance of music as an art. The second act is about a talent show for girls. The contestants have to sing a song (mostly Czechoslovak rock'n'roll and twist) before a jury who decides whether it was just singing a song or pure talent.
