"A potion put them in the ocean"
During an afternoon of fishing, Fly, Stella and Chuck discover the mysterious laboratory of the eccentric Professor Mackerel. The professor has invented a magic potion that allows people to live underwater. Fly's sister Stella accidentally drinks the potion, turns into a starfish and disappears into the waves. The two boys also each take a sip and go after Stella; Fly like fish and Chuck like jellyfish. If they don't find the antidote within 48 hours, they will remain a fish forever.
