Decent little horror film.

Tom Lewis clearly enjoyed himself. Script, direction, editing... it is the kind of film where the director really takes center stage, and you can certainly tell. It ensures that this film lifts itself just that little bit above mediocrity; on the other hand, it is also clear that Lewis is not the kind of great talent who can produce a masterpiece all by himself.

Visually okay. Lots of angled camerawork and oversaturated images. It gives the film a distinct and unique look, even if it isn't always pretty and doesn't always manage to conceal the limited budget very well. The acting is mediocre (but never truly substandard), and the soundtrack is fairly bland (especially that music at the rave is truly awful).

You shouldn't watch it for the story either; it's a hodgepodge of familiar territory. But the atmosphere is quite nice. Although it never really manages to get scary, the film still has a certain oppressiveness. It is therefore not a horror film that will stick with you for years, but it is quite enjoyable viewing for a change.
