Pro Urodov i Lyudey plot
Two families are central to the film: Doctor Stasov with his blind wife Yekaterina and their adopted children Kolya and Tolya, and the family of railway engineer Radlov with his daughter Liza and his mistress, servant Greenya. Groenja's brother is the seedy Johann who runs an underground photo studio where erotic photos are taken. Through the servants, these underworld figures infiltrate both families, aided by the passions of these wealthy citizens. Johann wants to make films and has set his sights on the beautiful Liza. Accomplice Victor sees more money in the adopted twins, which he wants to exploit as a singing duo.
