Love on the Side plot

"A small-town waitress vies with a sassy city slicker for the attention of the town's most eligible bachelor."

Eve works at a roadhouse in the small town of Squamish. For years now, she has absolutely adored local champ Jeff. But she is quite insecure and worried about her weight. Suddenly Linda Avery shows up, a blond bump from the city, who turns the entire male population upside down. Jeff immediately uses all his charms to win Linda over. Instead of getting all the attention from the men, Linda only has eyes for Eve. A bizarre love triangle develops in which Jeff, Eve and Linda all try to hit on the other.
