Thanks to niethie finally got to see it. Best Toe Tag Production! Fred Vogel ditches the snuff and goes for a traditional slasher, but combined with a supernatural touch. Very dark, atmospheric and with the necessary splashing gore. Also regularly experiments with camera work. Not very consistent in style, but that makes it a lot more interesting. You notice that he wants to make more of a 'film', and not a torture porn fuck-fest with degrading practices. Although you also feel that intense hatred in this work... Nice!

Reasonable.
The Redsin Tower is a mix of a slasher/supernatural film that struggles to come together.
Once the film gets going there are some memorable scenes in which the gore effect is very enjoyable.
If the film had been a bit smoother and had a stronger script, this could have been a very successful work.

Director Fred Vogel unmistakably leaves his mark on The Redsin Tower, but nevertheless tries to take his film in a slightly different direction. This time it is a slasher film with some supernatural elements, but the explicit violent crimes and large amount of nudity reveal that Vogel is still trying to stand out with atrocities. The acting is not bad for a change, which makes the humor quite infectious, but some of the main characters, on the other hand, act like a newspaper. Perry Tiberio in particular makes a rather nonsensical impression, but his influence on the story seemed silly anyway. The choice of location is strong and some atmospheric images in between are effective, but the messy content ultimately dominates. There is therefore no proper build-up of tension, and Vogel could have used more light so that his make-up effects were more visible. It is not a bad film, but it is very cheap and structurally very messy.
