Nice Sabu again.

That hippie bum really provides some hilarious moments and the Jesus freak is almost as brilliant. Stealing change, scene at the police station :')!, scene at Ginyu resort. An incredible number of ideas come flying at you, this is both the strong and the weak point of the film. At times it is a bit boring or long-winded, it is not really disturbing (only the train love was a bit irritating), but sometimes it was just a little less interesting.

Still, I can easily give this 4*, watching several scenes with a broad grin, great.

Another bull's-eye from Sabu. Stealing a bag of money from the bank and then not having any change for the subway safe is the starting signal for a crazy ride in which the craziest characters become involved.

The priest and Jesus are the highlights. I also enjoyed the racing horny cop. His crazy laugh where he presses the accelerator again while his partner shits his pants. The scenes at the police station are wonderfully dry, as are many other typical Sabu humor. Indeed, the film again revolves a lot around transport, something I have encountered in all other Sabu films.

Unfortunately, the speed slows down a bit after an hour. The wedding is quite strong, but the run-up to it is slow and the lengthy fight is also a lot less fun than I had become accustomed to in the first hour. Fortunately it is still entertaining, supplemented with a hip soundtrack. Yup, it's tasty again!

Nice review.

I was a bit hesitant, because what I mainly remembered from this film was that its regular group of actors had been replaced by a boy band. Immediately the least thing about this film, although they don't do that bad. Tanaka was also smart enough to make a number of roles extreme enough, so you have less work to do as an actor.

The film takes a while to get going, but once the stories are settled and Tanaka can be goofy again, it becomes a lot more fun. With the ending as apotheosis, where he emphatically shifts up a gear.

Visually neat, acting and score slightly less so, but otherwise very funny. It is a film that focuses on pure entertainment, and knows how to deliver it. Tanaka's formula ran out a bit after this film, so he was smart enough to recharge his batteries. Food for the Tanaka fans, the rest would be better off trying his more prestigious films.

4.0* and a extensive review
