Teen Viola is told her girls' soccer team is disbanding. Deeply disappointed, she plans to pretend to be her twin brother, who is out of town anyway, and takes his room at his high school. However, she falls in love with roommate Duke and another girl falls for her again, causing all kinds of misunderstandings.

Nice movie. It's a shame Bynes has slipped like that, because she's a talented actress who wears these types of movies effortlessly. The story is quite original and the humor works. Outside of Bynes, the actors are nothing special, but it's funny to see the bumbling Tatum at the beginning of his career. And Vinnie Jones is hilarious in his own way. It is a pity that the football scenes are filmed bizarrely poorly. Otherwise a great movie.

Light-hearted (girl's) film, no complicated plot, story is not realistic, but still nicely worked out. Despite the length of the film, the pace is still fast. Some over-the-top clichés with some silly types. The acting isn't great, but it certainly isn't bad either. Lead actress Amanda Bynes does a great job with the different types she plays. The level of humor is not exaggerated, sometimes a bit bland, but I still had to chuckle or laugh a few times because of the occasionally hilarious scenes. This funny movie is just laid back for a relaxed evening, nothing more nothing less......

This movie is really fun. I think it's one of the best in the genre. I hadn't seen him in a long time, but I looked again and there are moments when I really have to laugh. But, there are also moments that don't interest me (like the bits in the beginning and in the middle where she's just Viola, occasionally funny but the only moment as Viola that really captivates me is when it all gets known in the end).
