Ik Wil Nooit Beroemd Worden plot

"I never want to be famous," Tobias murmurs. Tobias is severely handicapped and a great lover of Bach. He used to be a successful cellist. Ever since he awoke from a coma after a cardiac arrest, he has been physically handicapped and understands little. With archive material of performances, photos and memories of his family and a good friend, an image is created of the former Tobias, the cellist. This image is interwoven with images of Tobias now, his life in the home for the mentally handicapped, the conversations with his mother and the attempts to get him to play an instrument again. Family members and friends speak openly and honestly about the dilemmas and questions they have.
