Psychological thriller, in which the main character John (Kristoffer Joner) was recently dumped by his girlfriend Ingrid. He is seduced by his beautiful girls next door, Anne and Kim. He is taken to a mysterious and frightening world where reality is indistinguishable from fantasy.

A 45-minute run-up in a 75-minute film is really way too long and even the better second half is actually somewhat familiar material.
Apparently intended as a tribute to Polanski and then we can guess: Repulsion and Le Locataire.
Striking sex scene and nice ending, otherwise it's not all that convincing.

Film starts strong, but quickly becomes vague and as a viewer ('experienced viewer' I read above, a striking description) you quickly understand how the fork is in the handle. The film never manages to surprise, but it also doesn't get exciting anymore. And finally doesn't care anymore. Too bad, because visually and in terms of atmosphere it is possible, that was clear in the beginning. Also very well acted. But in the end the strange thing prevailed, which never turned into a nightmare but just remained strange. 2.0*.
