Nasser Asphalt plot
Greg Bachmann (Horst Buchholz) is a young, dynamic news reporter who has just been released from prison. He is immediately offered a job by Cesar Boyd (Martin Held), who has Bachmann write articles under which he writes his name. He then sells these to foreign newspapers. After a deadline threatens to be missed, Boyd makes up a story. A story that takes on a life of its own and the consequences of which are incalculable. However, no one knows that this story isn't based on any truth, until Greg gets a hunch.
