Soekarno: Indonesia Merdeka plot
In the 1920s, a young Sukarno starts his struggle against Dutch colonialism. In the decades that follow, the pacifist encounters all kinds of resistance, also from within his own circle. The occupation of Japan in World War II does not make his mission any easier: should Sukarno see the imperialists as an ally who can give Indonesia more independence, or are they, like the Dutch, violent overlords?
