Babylonsjukan plot

From the perspective of a young girl, the film follows a group of young people in South Stockholm. Maja has no place to live when her boyfriend leaves for the Indies. Upset and sad, she moves in with Mattias, where she is forced to join a tight-knit group of party foamers. After a while, Maja gets on well with them. Together they wander around Stockholm for a summer month. Sometimes they philosophize about the essence of life, sometimes they take action against Swedish racism. Something grows between Maja and Mattias but it is not so easy to reach. Since a bad experience during a demonstration, Mattias suffers from a pseudo-disease that makes you forget everything, the "Babylon disease".
