"A true story of global disaster... it just hasn't happened yet"
The last time the supervolcano beneath Yellowstone Park erupted, some 640,000 years ago, the world was in darkness for six years. This caused the last ice age and a decrease in the human population to 2,000. Scientists know the supervolcano will erupt again; the only question is when this will happen and what measures need to be taken.
