"Once the killing had started… it could never stop!"
Young professor Stefano hopes for peace when he returns to his hometown. But soon things are disturbed when a medium is murdered outside his residence, the parish of his brother, Father Paolo, who witnesses it. The murder bears a resemblance to an unsolved case from the past. When Paolo receives threatening letters amid more murders, the brothers scramble to unravel the mystery.
