First of all: a very deep bow to Frank Lammers. In my eyes he is really one of the best actors in our country. Unfortunately, he cannot save this film on his own.

The main reason for this is that his role as master Wouter does not have a lot of screenplay.

Polleke is a children's film about friendship. the (first) love and problems (especially with parents). Unfortunately, it really remains a children's film and for an older audience that makes this film completely unsuitable. It's a shame, because I think this could have been a film for young and old alike. Now the film leaves an unsatisfied feeling.

Reasonable children's film, in my opinion not so girly as you think in advance (could be wrong, seen a while ago but still fresh in my mind). Polleke is a girl with a very beautiful look in her eyes, she spoke a thousand languages. A really special girl, (the actress then of course), I really think that. In addition to the appearance of our young protagonist, the film is freely accessible to everyone. The acting is okay, as okay is formulated in these kinds of films. In addition, the film has enough momentum and enough depth for the aspiring teenage girls who are going to watch it. Great video for 11 year olds.

Watched this Dutch film and it was not wrong. A film with many different themes: different cultures, drug addiction, ... so already quite intense for a youth film. Fortunately, it was still fairly light-hearted.

Frank Lemmens and Halina Reijn were 2 well-known heads and did well, but the girl was also well chosen.

Great movie.
