Le Roman de Renart plot

Renart is a generous bandit and attentive father full of imagination. The incorrigible and mischievous outlaw is not afraid to take advantage of the stupidity or malice of other animals such as the wolf Ysengrin or the donkey Chancelier. These two comrades, greedy for power and wealth, want to obtain an old parchment on which the secret of eternal life is said to be written. The ancient text is hidden in the cave of curses and is in the care of Pierre, the monster. Renart, who has learned this history, goes in search of the treasure himself. But Ysengrin sent the monster after him.
