The Secret plot

Freddie thinks he's put an end to his criminal past when he starts a case with Maggie. But when a precious diamond resurfaces after 18 years, the secret that lies at the heart of their close relationship threatens to be revealed. Freddie has a crush on Maggie's adoptive daughter Belle. But he starts a relationship with Marcel, the son of Gallagher, a terrible man from Freddie's youth. Thus, the truth of Belle's parentage comes to light. The revelation opens up an investigation into Gallagher's murder 18 years ago.
