Car Trouble plot

"A car, a jealous wife and a journey to disaster!"

Gerald Spong (Ian Charleson) is in the midst of a midlife crisis and buys a Jaguar. He falls hopelessly in love with the car. He is way too busy with his Jaguar, and so his wife Jacqueline (Julie Walters) can fall in love with the car salesman unseen.
