While investigating the dark side of the gambling world, newspaper editor Steve Wilson is turned upside down and left for dead by the river. He wakes up in a hospital bed to learn that his partner has been kidnapped. Lead reporter, Lorelei Kilbourne, is tasked with opening an investigation and discovers links between the missing girl and the kidnappers. Wilson faces a much bigger enemy than he initially thought.
