Just watched this one.
Film has some nice action and mass scenes, but that can't hide the fact that the story constantly jumps from one branch to the next and never really gets interesting.
Best scene is where Chang single-handedly stops an entire army unit.
Slight disappointment.
A six or three stars.

Pretty okay all but sometimes a bit messy.
Decoration and nature ect were beautiful as were the fights.
Chan is just good in his role as always.

The Myth is a movie that is too vague to be really enjoyable. For unknown reasons, two storylines are presented that ultimately have nothing to do with each other. (not at the end either, it turns out). The archeology story is nice, the historical part quite mediocre. The problem is, it's all so exaggerated. Of course you can expect that with Jackie Chan in the lead role, but it just doesn't fit the story. The fact is that the action is again very well taken care of, as it always is with Jackie. The stunts are once again to die for. The much-mentioned rat-glue scene is indeed a highlight, but I actually liked the ending scene in the weightlessness cave just a bit more. The Myth isn't a good movie, but it's not exactly a bad one either. Of course you can have problems with the sometimes very fake effects and the English dubs are again ridiculous, but I have left the latter out of the review.
