Thunderhead - Son of Flicka plot
"A young boy tries to train Thunderhead, a beautiful white colt and the son of his beloved Flicka, to be a champion race horse."
Ken McLaughlin, son of a horse breeder, takes it upon himself to train Thunderhead, a white foal. This one has the same rebellious traits that are typical of his mother Flicka. Thunderhead helps Ken recover several horses that were stolen from his father. He also attracts the attention of Charlie Sargent, a racehorse breeder. Once fully grown, Thunderhead makes it clear to Ken that he would rather live in the wild...
