Planet of Dinosaurs plot

"Trapped On A Lost World of Prehistoric Monsters"

A spaceship runs into trouble en route and is forced to make an emergency landing on the nearest planet. This planet looks very similar to Earth at first glance and everything seems fine. But very soon they find out that they are not the only living beings walking around here. This planet looks like Earth from over 64 million years ago. It is full of hungry dinosaurs.

The quality of the stop-motion work far exceeds that of the acting.
More expensive productions from the same period could learn something from this.

Too bad they felt the need to let the best-looking babe die shortly after the film started

The stop-motion gets full marks from me here.

The poster is also nice.

Strikingly a few very good reviews here, but unfortunately this seems a bit over the top considering the course and the elaboration of the film. The stop-motion is nicely done considering the time when the film was made. Although there are certainly other films that have come close to this. The story is not very interesting, with the director making a few wrong choices. You have 9 crew members who survive the crash and in the end only a few die. In addition, the director also chooses the two attractive ladies, with Mary Appleseth (Cindy) being grabbed very quickly by an animal in the water. And Derna Wylde could have meant something more in terms of role. I do not understand at all that this is being compared to Jurassic Park. That is a completely different order. 5/10
