A mysterious plague, purple death, destroys life on the earth. dr. Zarkov, who is researching in his spaceship, finds a ship from the planet Mongo, which is polluting the Earth's atmosphere with toxic dust. It is soon certain that this is a new truck from Ming, the merciless, and Flash, Dale and Zarkov immediately set out on a journey to Mongo, where old allies, Prince Barin of Arboria and Queen Fria of the frozen northern land of Frigia, await them. There they find polarite, the antidote to the plague on Earth. However, Ming has no intention of letting the heroes go without a fight...
