“This town sucks for heroes.”

Such a 90s teen movie. Disturbing Behavior wants to be original, but quickly lapses into clichés. I understand that the point of the film is to magnify everything, but it doesn't get interesting. And not exciting either. Katie Holmes is fun to watch but totally miscast here. Fortunately, those perfect teens sometimes go completely crazy, resulting in some nice scenes.

Moderate, the film relies too much on a standard concept and does not manage to surprise at any time with the disappointing plot. Little horror, thriller all the more. Tension is hard to find and the entire cast knows where to excel. It felt a bit too much like a teen movie and is quite disappointing.

moderately.

A film that is very much a product of its time. Disturbing Behavior is hard to count as a movie that is ahead of its time, but that can often have a certain charm. Sometimes that charm really resonates with me, but in the case of this film, I thought it all seemed ridiculous.

What is striking is how few actors actually do not fit in the film and how Holmes easily comes out on top as the best character. The opening with her is quite surprising, but once the reveal is revealed, it's just bland. Especially since it leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to horror.

A mysterious, sleeping town that is raided with special events, that's all the film has to offer. Nevertheless, it tries to be more intelligent than it is, which makes the stupidity of the whole seem even more annoying. In addition, there is also the fact that the effect of evil was already a sad idea. No idea how that got through.

Still decent characters and a pace that moves along nicely. The film may be ridiculous, but it knows very well what entertainment is and by getting more ridiculous by the minute it miraculously manages to captivate. It is a real film that can make a certain audience very happy, but I belong more to the target group that wants to see it all a bit more normal.
