Il Treno di Lenin plot
March/April 1917. The First World War has been going on for a few years now. A sealed train carrying Russian emigrants runs from Zurich through Germany and Sweden to St Petersburg. The exiles are led by Vladimir J. Lenin. Two senior officers supervise the "revolutionary bomb" to make sure everything runs smoothly. Yet there are some unpleasant clashes between enthusiastic socialists and workers concerned about the war. During the train journey, Lenin's affair with the charming Inessa comes to an end and his wife Nadja is willing to take him back. The triumphant entry into Saint Petersburg is beyond all expectations.
