I didn't think it was a bad movie. The film doesn't really shine in terms of originality, but it still captivated me from start to finish. The cast did a fine job. The film looks good, but a number of similar films have already been made, so I didn't really have a wow feeling.

Still worth a look, but one viewing is enough.

Quite a setback that reminds me a bit of Fargo, and I personally wasn't impressed at all. The director doesn't seem really sure which way he wants to go. For example, the film looks more like a drama film, which at a certain moment seems to turn more towards a crime film and which also contains some links to a thriller. The problem with that is that the film is simply not exciting and certainly not funny. For example, the only moment of humor I liked was the situation where Charlie goes over his neck on the bridge, then leans against a pole and under a sign with his head, only to be startled by the siren of the police car and bang his head. But that was also the only moment that I was quite confused about. The atmosphere, on the other hand, is good, but unfortunately The Ice Harvest couldn't offer me anything more interesting than that.
