The Venetian Affair plot

"Vaughn! Venice! Vooom!"

US journalist Bill Fenner, once active for the CIA, is sent by his news agency to Venice to inquire about an attack on an international peace conference. There he encounters his former wife Sandra, who seems to be involved in the bloody affair. Fenner still loves her and wants to smuggle her out of Venice. However, he encounters the opposition of a certain Robert Wahl who is after Sandra and apparently goes over corpses...
