"HIs war would never end."
A Vietnam veteran (Dennis Hopper) embarks on a days-long train journey to transport the coffin of a fallen comrade to his hometown. On the train, he gets into a conversation with a bunch of muddle-headed exponents of hippie culture and goes completely nuts.
