Kolberg plot
The Prussian town of Kolberg was one of the towns that were not immediately overrun by Napoleon's French troops in 1806. The population of Kolberg refuses to surrender. Under the head of the municipal council Nettelbeck and the ambitious new commander Gneisenau, it was finally brought about that Prussian soldiers and civilians stood together against a French superiority.
