The Curse of the Komodo plot
Scientists commissioned by the US military are conducting genetic experiments on an island 200 miles from Hawaii. One of those experiments is now in danger of getting out of hand. With genetic engineering, the scientists have created giant monitor lizards (komodo dragons), bigger and stronger than they expected. The scientists are unable to contain these monstrous lizards. The beasts break out. Chaos and panic are the result. The scientists enlist the help of the US military. When help fails to materialize, the scientists realize that the US military has failed them. They are trapped like rats.
