Kong Que plot
A film about an average Chinese working-class family with three older children in a small town between 1977 and 1984. The children all have their own problems. The eldest son has become slightly handicapped due to a childhood illness and is very spoiled by his parents. The daughter marries a man she does not love and in the meantime dreams of a different life. The younger son decides to move to another city to distance himself from the family.
