The Initiate plot

When Deputy Sheriff Jack Collins returns home from rehab, he discovers that his best friend Harlan has been killed in an accident on the job. There seems to be a connection to a mysterious brotherhood. Together with his old flame Susan, Jack starts an investigation into occult organizations. Doubts soon arise. Was Harlan's death an accident? Or did his wife Sara have something to do with it?
