Vaterland - Lovecký Deník plot
The story is set on and around an old, dilapidated estate in an undisclosed land. The Czadsky brothers, their wives and their two cousins, Max and Leo, come to see what remains of their heritage. They are authorized to do so for the first time since an unfortunate, unspecified period reminiscent of the communist era. The guests are welcomed by an old caretaker who used to work for their father. He revives the old aristocratic atmosphere: through his meals, but above all by preparing for the hunt. This hunt has to take place according to strict rules, which are certainly not commonplace. Both the prey and the tools for hunting are puzzling, if not bizarre
