Meng Ying Tong Nian plot
Mao Dabing ("Great Soldier" Mao) is passionate about movies. One day he has an accident with his motorcycle. Suddenly a girl arrives and starts hitting him hard with a rock. The girl's name is Ling Ling. She hands Dabing a note and some keys. Out of curiosity, he accepts the keys and goes to Ling Ling's house. Dabing discovers that her house looks like a small movie theater and that she, like himself, is a big movie buff. He finds a diary and starts reading it. And then a long story unfolds...
