The Wise Kids plot

"A Story of Faith, Sexuality, Love and Friendship."

In a Baptist church community, several teens, including Brea (Alison Torem), Tim (Tyler Ross), and Laura (Molly Kunz), spend their time singing, praying, and performing the theater. They have completed their secondary education and are at an important stage of life where they will have to choose which path to take. Laura is fervent religious, her best friend Brea, daughter of a pastor, is much less so. When Tim openly admits his homosexuality, the community members react very differently and Laura begins to question her faith.
