"Sometimes the only way out is to break in"
Ethan Mao, 18, is kicked out of the house for being gay. He lives on the streets, earns money with sex for a fee and befriends 19-year-old drug dealer Remigio. After learning that his family will be taking a trip for Thanksgiving, Ethan and Remigio decide to pick up some of Ethan's belongings in the meantime. Once there, the family appears to be still at home while they break in, after which the family is taken hostage by the two young people. A confrontational stalemate ensues.
